As a Hamburg-based start-up, we have made it our mission to make existing forests more productive. Our digital tools optimise forest management so that we can help meet the increasing global demand for timber and thus protect virgin forests.

 

At SKYLAB, we love coding! 

We specialise in the interpretation and analysis of drone, aircraft and satellite data to capture and measure vegetation. Our image processing and data analysis technologies are at the forefront of digitising the natural environment. 

 

As a milestone for digitisation in forestry and plantation management, we are developing a cloud platform that integrates automated processes to analyse airborne vegetation data.

We are looking for you to support us in coding!

Your profile

 

  • You not only enjoy coding and developing, you also really enjoy it

  • You like to work your way into new areas of responsibility

  • You are interested in frontend development, backend development (Django) and DevOps

  • Languages other than English are an advantage, but not absolutely necessary - we already speak German, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French.

  • You will work in a young, professional team of currently 14 people: Biologists, foresters, geomaticians, programmers and data scientists. Working with us is uncomplicated and fun

Als Hamburger Startup haben wir es uns zur Aufgabe gemacht, bestehende Wälder produktiver zu machen. Unsere digitalen Tools optimieren das Forstmanagement, so dass wir dabei helfen, den weltweit steigenden Holzbedarf zu bedienen, und damit Urwälder zu schützen.

 

Wir bei SKYLAB lieben Coding! 

Wir sind spezialisiert auf die Auswertung und Analyse von Drohnen-, Flugzeug- und Satellitendaten zur Erfassung und Vermessung von Vegetation. 

Unsere Bildverarbeitungs- und Datenanalysetechnologien sind führend in der Digitalisierung der natürlichen Umwelt. 

 

Als Meilenstein für die Digitalisierung in der Forst- und Plantagenwirtschaft entwickeln wir eine Cloud Plattform, auf welcher automatisierten Prozesse zur Analyse luftbasierter Vegetationsdaten integriert werden. Als Unterstützung beim Coding suchen wir dich!

Dein Profil

 

  • Coden und entwickeln liegt Dir nicht nur, sondern macht Dir auch richtig Spaß

  • Du arbeitest dich gerne in neue Aufgabengebiete ein

  • Du hast Interesse an Frontendentwicklung, Backendentwicklung (Django) und DevOps

  • Andere Sprachen als Englisch sind von Vorteil, aber nicht unbedingt erforderlich – wir sprechen bereits Deutsch, Englisch, Spanisch, Italienisch, Portugiesisch und Französisch
