Office Manager in Hamburg
(Part-time)

For our Hamburg office, we are looking for a new team member (m/f/d) for back office tasks as well as to support the management in organizing and planning a wide range of processes.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Classical commercial-administrative and organizational activities such as preparing offers and invoices, monitoring payments, recording, allocating and preparing receipts for submission to the tax advisor, making payments, etc.

  • Preparing and carrying out tasks related to salary payments for new hires and employees

  • Assuming secretarial and assistant duties such as writing cover letters or documenting procedures

  • Customer contact for organizational issues

  • Researching potential new contacts

 

Ideally, you have already gained experience in the areas of accounting, business correspondence, human resources and back office.

 

Whether you are just returning from a break (parental leave or otherwise), we would love to hear from you! 

 

Languages other than English are an advantage but not essential - we already speak German, English, Spanish, Italian, French and Russian.

 

Your working hours are flexible and can be between 20 and 24 hours per week - with the possibility of a full-time position later on as we grow. 

 

You would be working in a young, professional team of now 14 people: Biologists, foresters, geomaticians, programmers and data scientists. 

 

Working with us is straightforward and fun, and our current gender ratio is very encouraging: three to five.
