OUR MISSION at SKYLAB is to bring cutting-edge technology to forest management for maximum impact: more trees and healthy, productive forests to store more carbon and to produce more sustainable raw materials. 

 

OUR PRODUCT is a cloud-based #forestAi technology platform, which analyses aerial data from drones, planes and satellites for our customers worldwide, for example for:

  • Seedling and tree counting for maximum survival and optimised thinning

  • Vitality and health assessments to detect problems early and enable swift and targeted action

  • Volume and carbon inventories to maximize yields

  • Forestry carbon performance monitoring for full transparency

 

We are also continuing to develop new products, as well as tirelessly improving the existing ones.

 

OUR CUSTOMERS are forest management companies, private and state-owned forests, NGOs, forest consultants and carbon project developers around the world. We focus on Europe, North and Latin America, South Africa and Oceania. We have a customer base in all of these areas and we seek to build on that for very strong growth in the coming years.

 

OUR TEAM consists of foresters, coders, biologists, data scientists, geomatic engineers, linguists, a physicist and a marketing professional. We speak Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, German, Russian, Italian, Hindi, French, oh and English.

 

YOU

We’re looking to hire you as a sales professional. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic, dedicated and dynamic team that is building the SKYLAB business for maximum impact. 

 

You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, collaborating with our local partners and closing deals. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies that generate revenue for the company in your region. You will also work closely with the entire sales team to drive the strategic direction of SKYLAB.

 

You enjoy interacting with people, selling and presenting online and live at events and trade fairs. You are not afraid to pick up the phone to call somebody you haven't spoken to before, and you don't necessarily need to know everything in detail before you act.

Requirements

  • It is a pleasure for you to sell and present, to talk but also to listen

  • You love technical products

  • You already have some sales experience

  • You speak business English fluently. German is not required but other languages are a plus

  • Ideally you have had some exposure to forestry or forestry-related products
